The red carpet at last night's 8th Annual Laureus Awards in Barcelona looked more like a ceremony honouring celebs than it did sports stars.Among the invited guests at the big event, which took place at the uber ritzy Palau Sant Jordi, included Eva Longoria, Elisha Cuthbert, supermodels Nieves Alvarez, Valeria Mazza and Laura Sanchez, celebrated Spanish flamenco dancer Joaquin Cortes and Oscar-winners Morgan Freeman and Cuba Gooding Jr.
The Laureus World Sports Awards, which was broadcasted to 190 countries and territories, is the premier global sports awards honouring the greatest sports stars across all sports each year.
